This USA region player has interesting quirks.  I think it's great, though I did have to open the case and plug the powercable into the DVD reader.  I would suggest it to anyone that likes foriegn films.  I suggest the following behavior..

Using the remote:
Press Eject
Press Stop
Type 1 - 9 - 9 - 9

Explore the menu that has appeared...  It seems that there is a region section, that one would never want to alter, because we know that all films are best when published in region 1, not ALL regions.  =D
